Matthew Browne is the Managing Attorney and sole member of Browne Pelican PLLC.

Mr. Browne began his career as a litigation associate in the Dallas office of Patton Boggs LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs) in 2009. While there, he ended up working on residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) litigation, governmental investigations, and insurance denial-of-coverage disputes. 

More recently, he was Of Counsel at Talcott Franklin PC, where he continued to pursue RMBS litigation on behalf of certificateholders asserting claims against originators, sponsors, and trustees of mortgage-backed securities emanating from the 2007-08 housing collapse. While there, Mr. Browne was also involved in the representation of municipalities asserting claims related to the opioid crisis.

Mr. Browne has also developed a local practice in Dallas representing property developers in various disputes related to commercial real estate development and operation.

Mr. Browne is currently focused on litigation regarding the ongoing nationwide opioid crisis. 

He is licensed in Texas.
